Day 14 – Many forget or refuse to pay their vows made to God

This is a summary, from chapter 14, 31 Reasons people do not receive their financial harvest, written by Mike Murdock.

God is a God of covenants.  When we make a promise or pledge to God that we will give something to a charity, ministry, church or God’s people, then we need to make sure we follow through on that and do it.  If we don’t, Ecclesiastes describes us as fools (Ecc 5:4-5).  Paying what you have vowed will release the blessing that God has for you.

Perhaps you think you can’t afford it.  But is that really the case, or is it just not a priority in your life?  Pay it off a little at a time.  If you’ve made a faith promise, that’s a covenant with God – and you need to do your best to pay it off.
