Day 8 – The potential harvest

Filed under: Finances — pearsey @ 5:36 am

This is a summary, from chapter 8, 31 Reasons people do not receive their financial harvest, written by Mike Murdock.

Day 8 – Many never fully grasp the impact, influence and miracles that an uncommon harvest could produce for others.

“Something you have in your present can become much bigger in your future”.  The things that we have in our hands now, the seed of talent, the few dollars that we have, the curious mind, our ability to talk to people etc are all seeds that we can sow into the kingdom of God.  They may look small, but as we give them over to God, in the future it can be something much more powerful.  The seed that you have in your hand can become something powerful that can change many lives.  Your seed can help a missionary go overseas and preach the gospel, bringing miracles, deliverance and salvation to many who would otherwise not have heard the gospel.   The seed of your guitar talent could lead you to play and record songs that change the lives of those who hear them.

The five loaves and two fishes of young boy were handed to Jesus and became something that fed thousands of people.  What you have may not look impressive, but when given to Jesus, it becomes much bigger.

The harvest that you desire can change the world of others in incredible ways.  It becomes an incredible tool for good.  The enemy knows that, so if he can keep you from receiving a harvest, he will.

Don’t forfeit your dreams just because you don’t have a harvest.  Instead, realise the potential, start with what is in your hand and begin to believe with faith for your harvest that will allow you to impact so many lives for the Kingdom of God!  Dream BIG!
